First Look: Migguel Anggelo's new Piece

Created by multidisciplinary, Venezuelan American artist Migguel Anggelo, English with an Accent is a new, hybrid work of dance and theater, narrated in a storytelling song-cycle and backed by a company of ten dancers.

Directed-Choreographed by Avihai Haham, and featuring music and lyrics co-written by Jaime Lozano and Migguel Anggelo, this show is going to have its first performance in DC this April. Lights are by Tuçe Yasak. Costumes are by Ryan Park. This piece is produced by David Stark, with support from Washington Performing Arts and Lincoln Center.

We are having a great time developing this piece, and I am so looking forward to seeing it realized!
